Aim in life means to choose a profession for future life. Man is
the best creation of God. He can’t run his life towards the path of prosperity
and happiness without having a definite aim or plan in life.
our life is like a journey and a journey must have a
destination. An aim in life is the best guide to reach the desired destination.
An aim in life guides a man to make his life reach the desired goal of his
zigzag journey of life. A man cannot try his luck on many a profession. A
proverb also says,
“A rolling stone gathers on moss”
A life without an aim is
like a ship without a rudder. Again, The Allah (God) has sent man on earth with
a great mission of living in deeds and not in year. This can be possible only
through acting upon the following vision of life. This is why, a definite aim
in life is a must to win in the battle
of life and fulfill its mission.
“I slept
and found that life is beauty,
I woke and found that
is duty”.
Different persons have different choice, tastes and temperament
and as such they have different aims in life, somebody desires power, somebody
hankers after wealth and races and somebody craves for high honor and high
dignity in the society. Some wants to become social activist and work amount
the distressed humanity and leave behind them footprints of the sands of time.
Again, someone wants to be and engineer of neither a doctor nor a teacher and
so on. This choice of profession entirely depends on ones taste, aptitude and
intensity of desire.
I have like others a definite aim in my life. It is Cricketer . It is a profession after my heart. I like to lead and ideal life of “plain living and high thinking.”
Cricket is my favourite hobby and famous game too. It makes me feel healthy , fit and a stronger person. It also makes me feel confident and proud of what I am. Moreover people like cricket most . And people like and obey the teaching of famous cricket player. So my mind says—
I have an aim
That is not only game
To be a cricketer
I’ll try better
To choose my profession, I have been greatly inspired and guided
by the following Chinese proverb.
“if you plan for a year,
sow a seed.
If you plan for a decade,
plant a plant
If you plan for a century,
teach the people.”
Life is not a bed of roses. It is rather like a battle to be fought valiantly. Mine is a student life. I started playing when I was a kid of 7 years old with my brother in the back side of my home . I am quite good at it and I went to a club every Friday.Friday is for the under 13's and Monday is for the under 15's.I have just about all the equipment. I have 4 bats,3 sets of stumps,5 cricket balls,a pair of pads and gloves,2 boxes and all the whites.
From my childhood I tried my best for a cricket player and I got
chance to admit BKSP as a cricketer. As I am a student of BKSP cricket player, I have to prepare a
daily routine that controls my daily life.. I have to follow it strictly.
I prepare my mobile alarm
clock at 5.00 am .When the alarm starts
ringing , I wake up at 5:00 early in the morning. Because I know,
” Early to bed and early to rise
Makes a man healthy , wealthy and wise”.
I spend half an hour for brushing, washing and
bathing .Then I say my morning prayer . I go outside with my classmates on
morning walk for half an hour. There
is a rhyme
Exercise is easy, exercise is fun,
Exercise is great for everyone.
Returning my room I eat breakfast . Then I go gymnastic class
and practice that teachers taught me as revision in the last class. I
practice for around two hours in morning
time. I also practice physical rules and science numerical exercises. I believe
that practice makes us perfect.
As a cricketer of BKSP I have to Step up and press Single leg stance, Side plank with abducted kick, Lunge and
twist , Single leg (side) squats off a bench, Split squat and press, Walk lunge
with overhead med ball rotation, Single leg deadlift, Up, up, down, downs,
Swiss ball dumbbell rows.
After eight, I iron my uniform and make it ready. I read a story
or a poem for some minutes from a book of collection of short stories and
poetry. When it strikes 9:00 in the clock I take my lunch and get prepared to
go to physical class. I always reach class on time at quarter to ten.
I along with all my friends, elders and juniors make up an assembly where we
sing National anthem and pray our BKSP prayer. Our class begins at ten. We have
6 periods in total to study and practice
different subjects and games. My first period commences with physical and moral
value . After the 3rd period,
we have a twenty minutes break for tiffin. The class ends at four. No sooner the Class finishes, I
head to my room tired and fatigued.
My team is gradually growing day by day. I am playing many
cricket matches at National Level . My
aim is to play nationally.
This why I am determined to try again and again and yet again
and over again to come out successful. Let me quote the poet and work
accordingly.
“Though you stumble off
boys, never be downcast.
Try and try again, you
will succeed at last.”
In fact, the successes in
life largely depends on the right choice of profession. I have a determination
to act upon the maxim:
“Honor and shame from no
condition resell,
Act well your part and
there all the honors lie.
So I continue to play cricket. Besides being more technique about cricket, I also spend my time
profitably. It is indeed a good aim.
